First off, I have learned a great deal about diamonds and rings from this site, so thank you.

Now, I have a semi-custom Verragio ring in the works with Whiteflash (who has been a pleasure to work with) and wanted some feedback.

The diamond was a little over my budget and took me a while to finally pull the trigger, but I figured it offered a good value and WF said it was eye-clean from all angles--which is important to me. I also heard you can't go wrong w/ a WF ACA diamond.

I think my gf will be happy w/ the size since I've been occasionally implying that there's no reason of needing a diamond over 1ct. So it should be a pleasant surprise for her.

I'm getting the ring semi-custom done by Verragio through WF. The only change that I requested was for a single pave and a shank width <2.0mm. Anything more would have been much too expensive for me with my budget.

I have gone ring shopping with her so I know her likes/dislikes in a ring. I got the CAD pictures back today and the only thing I really had a question on was in terms of the pave. We have seen different types of pave styles in stores, and my gf prefers being able to visualize as little metal from the top view; as well as having the pave seem as continuous as possible, so minimize the look of several distinct diamonds making up the pave. I hope that makes some sense. I know the CAD makes the metal on the ring look more bulky than what it will in real life.

Anyways, here are the CAD models and let me know what you think of the diamond and ring! Now I just have to figure out how to propose. Thanks for looking.

I think I prefer the single pave in this ring - it looks gorgeous.
