Good Morning

I am having the CvB Norah 7 stone made for me and adore Caysie's work, so can't wait. It is a slightly different take on the Norah, as it is a two tone ring with platinum claws and 18kg yellow gold band (to match all of my current jewellery which is two tone and my preference). I wondered if anyone had feedback on the flow between the two colours. In my current jewellery, the platinum claws don't sit on a yellow gold base as this ring does. Appreciate your thoughts, thank you.

Especially interested to hear from people who already own this gorgeous band. And on a side note, Caysie has been an absolute dream to work with, so patient and accommodating, I will certainly be discussing this with her too, just wanting to check in with others first.

The ring will be 1.12ct in total across 7 MRB stones. Size 5.25.

Thanks again
Tanya

I really like it. I especially love the dovetail/split at the end of the stones.

I also like the yellow bases...seems to make the ring more custom vs just having a yellow gold shank and plat heads. I would understand if you
wanted to stay consistent with your other jewelry though. That's your call. It will look lovely either way IMO.

I have an antique 5-stone that has yellow gold shank and bases with platinum cups - I think it looks nice - a bit more cohesive than a yellow gold shank attached to a white top.

I quite like this ring, its very elegant!

Thanks everyone. I suspect I'm overthinking this. This is a significant anniversary ring and I'm unlikely to ever upgrade it, so I need to make sure it's perfect first go. :-)

I like it - flows beautifully. I have a ring from Caysie with a yellow gold shank and platinum halo, I trust that she wouldn't design the ring this way if she felt that it did not flow properly. It will be lovely!

I've never seen a ring designed like this, and I think it adds a lot to the cohesiveness of the ring. A lot of my jewelry is two tone, and this is a design element I will definitely be incorporating going forward.

Love it - very 'timeless' looking.

Looks perfect to me!

I love it too. I think a straight change from yellow gold shank to platinum would look disjointed. This keeps cohesion.

Very pretty, best of luck on your project

Thank you, ring has been ordered! Will report back with photos of the finished product. :-)
