feedback before I buy?(first time)

Background info:
The ring will be a solitaire diamond on a platinum band (still deciding on pave). I want the diamond to be perfect to the naked eye and SPARKLE in the light.
I was hoping to achieve this while spending less than $10k on the diamond ($8 would be great).

Any advice on my purchase is much appreciated... I'm meticulous and sometimes over obsess on the details

The specs for the stone seem good, it's a 60/60 stone thou but if you like the look then it's ok. It has strong fluorecence, have you seen any strong fluor diamonds in daylight and in person? Hca is 1.2 which is great. I'm not sure about the etch channel inclusion, maybe the experts can comment on that. Overall everything looks ok if you dont mind the fluorecence. Do ask for IS and ASET pictures from James allen, you can get them for 3 diamonds for free so search for 2 more diamonds that you like from JA and ask for the images. Then post the images here for ppl to comment your selection.

There are no issues with a VS1 as far as clarity. You do need the stone evaluated regarding any negative effects of fluorescence. I like fluorescence, but the negative is that sometimes the fl stones are overgraded for color and a small number can be cloudy in UV lighting or sunlight.

Definitely ask for an ASET (or idealscope) image.
