Feather at Girdle SI2, Cause for Concern ?

Hi guys, id like some opinions from the pros here as I look back on my purchase of this stone from James Allen :

I've been told that its prone to chipping or cracking, Do i have to be concerned ?

In a ring I like to place feathers on girdles in the north south direction and close to but not directly under a prong.

I'm not sure where mine was placed, although I am still looking for opinions about my feather @ girdle
