Favorite Holiday Song

I love "The First Noel" sung by just about anyone. My favorite versions are probably Nat King Cole and (sadly) Nsync.

I also love Mele Kalikimaka haha it''s so dorky and fun!

On Christmas Eve the church choir always does an amazing version of Hallelujiah Chorus that gives me chills.

Michael Buble has a 5 song CD I listen to a lot, as well as Bing Crosby.

It's December 18 and this thread is only into its second page. Not only that, but I found this thread buried under four pages of more recent "Hangout" threads. Why isn't Christmas music of interest to anyone this year? Did everyone say everything he had to say last year? (We did have a very dynamic thread last year.) Are the posters most interested in music not as active anymore? Does anyone have any idea why no one seems enthusiastic about the topic this year? Even the people participatipating haven't been posting a lot of links to their music!

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas... hands down my all-time fav. I don''t know why, it''s just a little quirky and I love it. One year when I was young my favorite was All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, because mine had been knocked out just before Christmas!

Ever since the SNL Christmas (or was it Holiday?) Special on Thursday, Dec. 17th, I can''t get "Christmas-time for the Jews" out of my head. I think it was sung by Darlene Love.
