I''m new to this forum. I''m searching for fancy color diamond now and need your advice for reliable fancy color diamond company. Is it safe to trade on-line ? If color show up doesn''t match photo or as expected, is it possible to ask for refund ? Can you share with me your experience ? Thanks.

First of all, you might try posting your questions over in RockyTalk to get more responses. This (colored gemstone) forum deals with everything EXCEPT diamonds, fancy colored or otherwise...

But since I''m here, I''ll take a shot at your questions.

I think buying on line is very safe, as long as you stick with proven, known, and respected vendors.

ANY diamond purchased online should come with an iron-clad return policy. In the end, they all have to be viewed in real life before a final commitment is made.

The only colored diamond specialist I can personally recommend is www.diamondsbylauren.com. They''re honest, and their prices are very competitive.

Two vendors listed here that specialize in fancy colored diamonds are www.thediamond.com and www.icestore.com . Because they are listed here, I''m sure they''re fine.

You might do a search on this site for these vendors to read customer feedback...
