Hi Everyone! I''m trying to find the perfect diamond setting (I''m almost there!), but am absolutely torn between the torchiere settings that Mark offers. I first saw the petite torchiere and absolutely fell in love with it, but I scrolled around the page some more and saw the "Fancy Torchiere." While I love the diamonds on the sides of the band, the more I look at it, the more tacky it seems to me. It seems like the diamonds in the "flame" accent the diamond well enough, but now I have no idea

I wanted to get your thoughts on this..please let me know!

what about wedding band. Personally I like the plain shank, and you can dress it up with a diamond wedding band of your choice. Diamonds on the ring sometimes limits you on what kind of wedding band you get.

Good point..I''m sure she''ll want a plain shank as well.

I''m leaning more towards the petite torchiere now. The accent diamonds within the flame are an excellent detail, and the extra side diamonds would be overwhelming for it.

Mark Morrell is known for the beautiful flowing lines of his platinum. So for me the plainer bands show this off the best.

What a beautiful setting. I don''t think that you can go wrong with a MM setting-they are just stunning. I love both but I lean slightly toward the plain shank, too. It''s timeless and versatile.

Happy shopping!

Agree that the plain band is timeless! Can always dress it up with blingy bands!

I love it with the plain shank.

I thinik the plain shank is most versatile.

I like it plain too (cant believe I''m saying that)!

Ok looks like I''ll be the one dissenting voice...while I do adore the plain shank I vote for the fancy it adds that extra shimmer and sparkle and I love it..
