I have been searching for a replacement for my wedding band that I sadly lost. It was fancy intense yellow diamonds.

I was looking for a five stone band of fancy yellow rounds or emeralds, very hard to find. Recently a vendor shared this video with me and I'm not sure about using the vendor, they are in NYC and new to me. I've also been warned I need at least intense or vivid to really see color in rounds.

What do you think about these stones and what is a fair price? They are fancy yellow .50 ct each so total 2.5 carats.

Where else could I get these stones or intense yellow?

Thanks!!

I personally would not feel comfortable buying yellow diamonds from a relatively new IG seller.

You might want to look at Diamonds By Lauren, they have fancy color yellow diamonds. Even if there isn’t anything on their website that fits your criteria, you could send them and email and maybe they could make a ring for you.

That's my IG. I uploaded the video from the seller in the NY Diamond District.

I second diamonds by Lauren

Oh gotcha okay, sorry for the mixup on my part,

I’ve heard good things about leibish too which I believe they are in the diamond district as well as DBL, from what I’ve seen they are more expensive compared to DBL. just food for thought.

Over the years I have bought several FCDs from Leibish.
They have always been very reputable.
I'm an FCD macrophotographer (see link below for examples of my work)
Meeting the challenge of photographing FCD, I can attest to something very important about Leibish ... the color of their photographs was as true to life as possible.
Leibish also has quality FCDs, good policies, and every refund was handled expeditiously.

My experience has made me so confident in Leibish that I would not even consider other vendors.
They're located in New York's Diamond district in 'The Diamond Tower' @ 580 Fifth Ave., NYC
855 534 2474.

FWIW, here's a 10-page thread about some of my Leibish purchases.

This cutter offers fancy colored suites for a decent price.

@kenny They sound like a wonderful vendor for FCD, just owning some stones, I can agree with you that they can have a mind of their own when it comes to taking pictures. Some days I’m like…. “ I’m going to go out in the yard and try to get some nice new shots” and I don’t post any of them and sometimes I get lucky. Keep in mind I’m using my iPhone XS max. Lol.

I felt it was important to mention the price thing because some people might be looking for a more budget friendly experience and some may have strict expectations so it’s not wrong to choose either of them. David is wonderful to work with as well and I believe he can deliver the majority of what people are looking for.

I have a fancy intense yellow diamond from Leibish, and I’m happy with it. I don’t know if their prices are higher or lower than other fancy color diamond vendors, but their pics are accurate. My diamond looked just like it did on their website.

Thanks all. I've looked at those sites. They don't have 5 rounds for a fancy yellow band and fyi leibish prices are 2x retail. Their fancy intense layouts in rare shapes is twice as much as SK would source and 2x what other fancy vendors are charging.
