Family Ring

Hey guys! I have been wanting to show off my mom''s vintage ring for some time now. I snapped some photo''s while I was home visiting for the holiday. I had to take them on an iphone so the quality isn''t great. Here we go:

My grandmother was given this ring by a family friend in the 1980''s. We think it is about 60 years old. She gave it to my mom about 10 years ago.
The center stone is about 1.5 ct and there are about .5 cts in smaller stones. The setting is platinum. I don''t know much else about it but that the center stone is IF clarity.

Thanks Junebug. This is the famous family ring. None of these pictures capture the sparkle that it has IRL. I get it someday. I am patiently waiting...

Thanks Bella! Even though this is a fab setting the JM is more my style so i guess it''s a good thing that my mom says that "I will have to pry it off her cold dead hand". LOL

Thanks Lil425! The plain bezel is actually my new reset. The setting is a James Meyer style 1345. Several ladies on this site have this ring if you want to see more. When I saw that setting I fell in love and had to have it!
