If you can return it and you are raising concerns I would just return it. You should be 100% happy as this is an expensive bauble meant to provide happiness.

It is definitely the phosphorescence. GIA doesn't put phosphorescence on the report. They do state the fluorescence however with a full report. I have a fancy intense yellow stone myself with blue fluorescence and yellow phosphorescence. Fortunately they don't affect the color at all.
