I've been reading this forum for a short while, and have posted a few comments here and there, and figured it would be okay to share some news that might interest this crowd of jewelry lovers: there is a new consumer magazine about fine jewelry available on newsstands nationwide. The magazine is called FACETS. You can also see info about it online at amazon.com.
It's written, photographed, and presented like a fashion magazine (think InStyle), but is all about fine jewelry, where it comes from, info about designers, what new pieces are available, etc. It's written by experts, so they say, in the trade.
It is definitely more extensive in jewelry selections and on the mark as far as trends--and better written b/c of the knowledge of the staff--than any of the other consumer mags with info about jewelry.
It's a beautiful magazine, not hideously expensive to buy, and won't bore you to death because there are lots of big, pretty pictures (including bridal trends).
