Hi Pricescopers!

It''s been a while since I was last in this forum, but still remember all of the amazing help you providing in my engagement ring selection. She loved it, and we are not in the final countdown stages for our wedding this September.

So, now it is time for buying the bands. Her engagement ring is a beautiful, Mark Morrell setting solitaire, round brilliant, 2.02 ct., H color, Ideal cut (old posts of mine have pics!).

She is interested in either an eternity band or a 7-9 stone diamond band. We are having a hard time choosing.

That said, we came upon a "unique" style a few days ago at Asprey (we live in London now). An eternity band set with baguetts length-wise It was beautiful, but also (especially in british pounds) far over priced.

I can across a near identical match on Facets today:
https://www.thefacetscollection.com/search.cfm?item_category=FEB&style_number_id=10

So, couple questions:

1. Has anyone ever bought from Facets? What do you think of the quality?
2. Has anyone ever seen this ring in person?
3. What do you all think of the style, and pairing it up with a round brilliant solitaire?

Thanks ALL - look forward to hearing your thoughts!

I didn''t see the setting you linked. I bought my eternity band from Signed Pieces/Facets. The stones are great, but I bought a shared prong setting and it chews up any setting next to it. I also had them polish
the inside of the ring to make it a little more ''comfort fit'' like. If your ring has smooth sides you should be okay.

I went to your link and I think you will be fine. I would time your purchase so you get your MM first so you can see how the stone hits the solitaire. Facets has a great return policy. I am happy with the quality of
the stones and the prices are great. I haven''t seen this exact ring but you might do a pricescope search-there may be someone who have one. I think it will be beautiful with your solitaire.I would go for the
eternity personally. You avoid the ring turning on the hand to show metal instead of stones, but that is a personal preference.

I have an eternity ring from Facets and I think it is top quality. My band is rounds in a platinum shared prong setting. I''ve worn the ring for 5 yrs now without a problem. Their customer service is great and their product is great.

I have not seen the ring you''re looking at in person but I''m sure it will be beautiful with your ering.

Also, you can always return the ring if you don''t like it.

If I had an MM ring I would try to see if mark could make something to match it with baguettes. His metal work is so fluid
looking and I thing the facets ring is more flat metal.

Oh yes, I''d love to see what MM would do with horizontal baguettes
