Facets collection 18k 5 stone band. What is a good price?

I have found what seems to be a facets collection 18k, 5 stone 0.54 ctw diamond wedding band. It seems to be in excellent condition according to the seller. How much would you pay for this?

They mention that they only use excellent or premium cut diamonds.
What do you think of Facets diamonds in general? They definitely seem really good from the pictures.

I guess this ring is back before they went all platinum? I'm thinking $400 would be a good offer...though I
dont have much justification except the diamonds are pretty nice (I ordered a Facets ring but sent it back because I found a
setting I liked better).

A lot of folks have been getting nice rings/bling from ID Jewelry lately. Here is a link to a similar ring... Its priced at about

Facets makes very nice quality jewelry. They list a .79 carat five stone band in white gold for $2496.00. A bit bigger than the one you are looking at but it gives you an idea of retail price.

are they that expensive now? ..6 yrs ago i paid $2780 for a 1.27 ctw 5 stone ACA plat ring.

The seller listed it for $900 and was willing to sell it for $850 with free shipping. I asked him if he would sell it for $650 but he refused. Is it worth it to buy at $850?

That one is in plat...the one he has is in 18k gold.

The platinum rings there with a half carat total weight seem to be around $1600-1700 in platinum so 18k would be a few hundred less. I think $850 is a pretty good deal. The downside is that you cannot return it if you don't like it. If you are planning to wear it with another ring, it is possible the stones are set too high and will scratch your e-ring prongs. But if you are buying it as a standalone ring, I think it is a pretty good deal.

This particular seller has no conditions asked return policy so that's kind of nice. I asked him to send me pictures of the maker's mark etc so that I can be sure it is the real deal. He said he will get those to me today or tomorrow and I will post them as soon as I get them.
