faceted girdle = stronger?

does a faceted girdle mean a stronger girdle?

Hello Damo,
A faceted girdle does not translate to a stronger girdle.
Girdles are faceted because many bruted gridles have tiny feathers extending in from the girlde. It also gives a cleaner look. Also a bruted girdle which is white can be seen as a curved white line through the table when the diamond is tipped.
Not stronger, just cleaner.
