Faceted Girdle Ok for Tension Setting?

Is a faceted girdle ok for a tension setting? I''ve read about thickness, but haven''t seen much info on whether a girdle should be faceted or not. Is there a preference either way?

It doesn''t matter... or at least it should not matter. There are very different levels of craftsmenship and quality when it comes to tension rings. If the ring is designed around the diamond and not the other way around you should have nothing to worry about.
