From what I've heard it gets awfully catty on there at times, and we've seen the drama spill over here - can't say I'm chomping at the bit to investigate further.

Yssie, I haven't really seen much cattyness there tbh. If anything, I'd say its less catty there than it is here....or at least from what I have seen. I used to check in more often but not as much anymore so maybe it has changed?

Where? I see no option. The only option is do you want your other to be just people you don't know or a mix of people you don't know or people you just don't talk to a lot. There is zero option to limit it to just friends at all.

hm I guess they did. I see what you are saying with the "message filtering"...that used to be where they had the option to limit to only friends could message you. when did they get rid of that option?

I had no idea that the "other" messages existed til now. Man, I've got some rippers in there! Most of them have been deleted because obviously other people have complained of the users being spammers, but I could tell just by the preview part of the message that they would have been hilarious. Unfortunately they were deleted and I'll never know what gems they possessed.

However, this one remains:

I just checked mine. I had one message in there from my wedding day from a second account of a crazy ex-friend. I had blocked her original account. She had to make a new account to stalk me! Creepy!

I found that story appalling.

My niece an one nephew tend to publish too much of their private lives on Facebook, as well. I just have a Facebook to read their Facebooks, haha.

I get little Facebook activity; largely because I rarely use it for much. I cannot imagine posting a lot of my life on Facebook as some others do.

It has allowed people to find me and contact me from my past and even from PS. I do not mind that; but do limit what I do on Facebook. For routine contact we move to email or perhaps Skype (etc).

I am aware that Facebook (and other sites) can be properly used for other than personal use (such as for business); but that has to be done carefully and I have thus far not been willing to invest the time needed to do that.

In a way she was trying to be nice, but she is still a psycho and this is a prime example of why we are not friends any more.
