My EC is G/VS with some fluoro and I love the iciness to it. So, I think for modern cuts, I prefer the higher colors. I also love antique cuts too, but to know how far I would go in color I'm not sure, I would have to see them in person. I work with a woman who has a 2+ct oval that I can totally tell (especially from the side) that its of lower color, and I find myself constantly noticing it and not liking that tint at all. To each is own, I guess
