Hi everyone, I have a dilemma I hope some of you can help with your experiences.

I currently have e and f color stud earrings and am about to get a solitaire pendant. I''m thinking about getting a j color stone with medium fluorescence for a solitaire pendant to get a bigger size/value. Do you think the mismatch in color would be obvious? I do have I color engagement ring and that does not bother me but I wonder about j color (have never seen in person) and also wonder if they should be close in color since they are worn closer together than earrings and e-ring. If you could share some of your experiences with respect to varying color diamonds worn together, I would appreciate it!

if the ''j'' is graded by gia or ags, you are not going to notice much, if any, difference face up from your ''i'' color ering. it would be perfect for a pendant and no one would second guess the color at all.

what size is it?

Thanks for your reply, I''m not really concerned about the e-ring in this case, I''m more concerned about the look of E and F studs I wear and the J stone I''m considering for a pendant together. The size I''m considering is about 1.15 SI1 (GIA), thanks!

i was just trying to give you a perspective on color. you live with an ''i'' color diamond everyday. the ''j'' will not be remarkably different. once set, they could be indistinguisable. no one will notice a color difference between your earrings and your pendant... unless they are much closer than what is sociably acceptable!

thanks. Hope if you get an ideal cut J, then you will not be able to tell the difference between your earings and pendant. I think you''ll be safe.

If they''re within an inch or three of each other, you''re gonna be able to tell. But under normal wearing conditions, probably not.
