Extending antique chains?

I’m on the hunt for an antique chain in YG and found one that could work but it’s only 14.4” long. I usually like my necklaces at 17”.

How could I go about adding 2.5-ish” to it?

I’ve seen people get beautiful gemstone beads stranded to a specific length so they can extend. Blue.rock.beads on IG is my go to for this but there are list of sellers

Those are cute but I don’t take care of my jewelry well enough for beads. I love her pumpkin charms though! I may try and make one.

Have you looked on Etsy? There are vendors selling extenders. This is just an example. Not sure how much you need the links to match but it's worth looking.

I haven’t. I’ve been waiting for them to send more photos. They sent an offer instead… they’re in the UK so I can’t return. I’m guessing this won’t be the one I’m buying.
