First off, welcome to PS

All of the diamonds you posted have potential from the numbers. Without Idealscope images there is not a lot else we can really tell you. You've done a good job of initial screening with finding stones scoring under 2 on the HCA. IS and photo evaluation is the next step, unless you are able to view them in person.

Are these at a brick and mortar store or with an online vendor?

Ditto jet.

Can you post the AGS report number for stone #3 and the carat weight as stated on the report?

Welcome trademark!

Please thank your friend for such wonderful praise, we are very grateful!

As to the diamonds all have potential but Idealscope images would be very useful if available particularly for the third diamond as due to the slightly shallow pavilion angle an image is the best way to check, are these for sale online or from a store?

Hi.
Thank you for the quick response. I did a search on Blue Nile for these diamonds.

I don''t think they can IS them. Are there specific questions I should ask Bluenile when I call them?

AGS : 01040385970076

Is there anything that looks the best? I can see if I can get pictures.

OK, got it now.

Yap, all looks good then, would have prefer an image but BN will not be able to provide them.

What is your budget? Maybe we can find something better with other vendors that can provide IS image?

How did you do that? I kept getting '' not a valid AGS report #'' in red.

No idea, I just tried again when OP posted the numbers and it works. :P

OP, you can try to request images but BN will just say no.

Recheck the number, the first post had an extra digit, the second post with the AGS# is correct

Trademark, BN does not provide images, so I don''t know how you''d get any, unless one of the stones is also available through another vendor''s virtual listing.

As stone-cold mentioned, if you are willing to look at other vendors that provide images, we would be glad to help you find a suitable diamond.

Of the diamonds based on number which would have the most sparkle or brilliance? I was looking at something around 10k range for a diamond. Roughly in the same range as the diamonds listed.

Thanks

These 3? I am searching at the I VS1 range, if I go down to the eye-clean SI1 range, there will be bigger stones or better saving available.

Ask for IS image for the 1st 2 stones. The 3rd stone is a H&A stone, slightly smaller at 1.45c. All are under or around 10k with PS discount.

It is hard to determine this based on numbers, maybe impossible. But in my opinion, at the risk of having eggs thrown at me

, I think that these diamonds will all look really good and unless you are really keen to have the best (a "mind clean" thing, you know?) then you could probably choose any of them and be happy. Then have it appraised by an independent appraiser to make sure you are happy with it.

I checked all the usual suspects (BGD, WF, GOG) for diamonds with these specs and they all came out more expensive. You do pay a premium for the services that yo uget at theswe preferred vendors, like pictures, upgrade poicies etc. If you want to use these vendors, I wonder, is VS1 clarity important to you for any reason? I ask because you could get a diamond in these sizes and colors from another PS vendor if you dropped clarity to VS2 or SI1, both of which can be completely eye clean (esp. VS2).

No eggs, dreamer. You are absolutely right that any of these should look good, I just have a hard time giving more than a "potential" or a "should" without images. VS1 or VS2 would be the clarities I would look at if the vendor cannot confirm an eye-clean stone.

One of the nice things about BN is that they have a good return policy, so if you do order from them and aren''t 100% happy with the stone, it is fairly easy to return.

Yeop, they have a very liberal return policy, so I personally think it's worth ordering from BN based on the cost savings and just have an independent appraiser look at it. If you're in a rush or can't be out the cost of two diamonds at one time or just really want to be sure you have all the information, then by all means use one of the PS vendors...Nothing wrong with that. I got a diamond from BN and compared it to one from a B&M store at an independent appraiser's lab...Ended up returning the BN stone. It was somewhat nervewracking as USPS registered mail takes FOREVER (took mine 9 days) and doesn't provide any online updates until it's delivered (I actually got notification from Blue Nile before USPS e-mailed me upon its arrival), but Blue Nile was super fast at crediting my credit card. And they said that the 30-day policy is by the ship date anyways. Blue Nile customer service for me was great. While you can't ask for Idealscope or images, you can ask them to visually inspect it, but they probably won't say much for a VS1. I was looking at SI1s and SI2s, had them inspect 4 stones, 3 came back eye-clean, one was not...So it seems like they were honest about it...They also e-mailed me better scans of a couple of the GIA reports that weren't crystal clear on their website within hours of me asking. So, definitely BN was responsive.
