Hello. I hope I can have some of my questions answered here. Everyone seems very knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I are searching for the perfect diamond. We have been searching for a couple of months now but it has come down to decision time and we are sooo confused.

Okay here is our dilemma. Are we getting an amazing deal on the following diamond or are we simply getting ripped off? Also is H color bad? Would it be easily detectable by others?

Is this an excellent stone with a great price? Our budget for the stone is $25,000

Have you seen it in person? An Si2 stone in that size will be challenging to find that is truly eye clean. That would be my first concern. They certainly exist, but I prefer an SI2 with a grade-making inclusion that can be pronged.

I think H color is not bad but my concern is SI2, stone may or may not be Eye clean, can you get the Ideal Scope Image from the vendor if you have not seen the stone, that will help you. The price seems to be good but I would check if stone is eye clean before purchasing stone like this.

I agree with pp about the clarity. An Si2 in that size has a pretty high chance of not being eye clean. It also scores a 2.4 on the HCA which isn't awful but usually diamonds with a score over 2 should be rejected as they don't preform as well as diamonds with scores of 2 and below.
