First - Thanks for taking time to read this post . I am not an expert when it comes to Diamonds . Considering this diamond at bluenile

Has feather inclusion and read elsewhere that depending on where the feather is , it could be a durability issue .

What do you all experts think of this Gem?

Im no expert but for these things you'd want to get actual photos. I thought blue nile only has sample photos. Is there a reason you want to use blue nile? have you looked at James Allen or whiteflash? They provide photos. Plus the people there could tell you if the stone is eye clean or not. White flash has the ASET and idealscope images for princesses.

It is pretty hard to make any kind of informed opinion without pictures and idealscope or ASET images. The safest princess cut stones to buy are those that are graded AGS Ideal cut. Here are a couple that I would personally consider if I were looking for a 2 ct. princess cut stone:

I will tell you that WF has had some pricing errors On A Cut Above diamonds on their site the last few days and they are honoring these prices until corrected. I am not sure if these are lower prices due to the fact I haven't been watching princess cut prices, but I just wanted to warn you in case you see the prices go up next week. Branded ideal cut stones generally will carry a price premium over lesser cut stones, so these may be well priced at the moment.

The one you picked has a very large table ...over 70% and is very deep. BN does not show you what the faceting looks like.
Impossible to buy fancy cuts without seeing the stone and comparing.
The smaller the table usually the nicer the cut. I’m not an expert on princess cuts though. Is there a particular reason
you want to get it from BN? I don’t think they provide ASET images for their stones. You pay a real premium price for VVS clarity
as well. Some PS experts can find you a great princess cut and save you some $$.
I’m posting some below. Also on GOG you can see the ASETs on some nice princess cuts and usually a Megascope which proves how well the stone performs.

James Allen will show you an ASET image on 3 stones and then you can pick the one you like best or the one the gemologist recommends:

Unfortunately I have to stick with the BN due to the billmelater option they offer which works for me .

the original one with the feather is not available any more ..
