Due to the lack of our budget, we went down on color, since I am a yellow gold girl and we figured that with yellow gold, the slight tint would be okay. In this respect I could go up on carat size.

Don't worry for the "only" high scintillation, I think that this diamond has some big color flashes.
The Megascope shows a great precicion too!
