Honestly! I did not like the specs of this diamond, I would prefer depth anywhere between 59%-62% and table 52% - 59% and XXX, Before making the purchase always check the return policy, refund policy, return shipping, Warranty and upgrade policy.

I recently bought a 70 pointer diamond from my local jeweler but before making the purchase I had checked with B2Cjewels.com and other online stores for few 70-80 pointers and they came up with very good options. Its worth giving a try :wink2:

You have all sorts of different vendors, different cuts, and prices/color grades all over the place.

What shape and carat weight do you want, how much do you want to spend, and which vendor has the setting that you want?

looking for round 70pointer eye clean, anything between $3500-$4000, including the setting.

Not yet decided on setting but she prefers simple & delicate design.

You should leave 2000 for that kind of setting, you need to be looking at H/I SI1 diamonds around to stay in your price range.

You are right Julien, I need to compromise somewhere. BTW we have selected few settings from B2C. They have this new stuff called "Try It For Free". I really like their concept. I just have to pay 1$ per replica and it is worth spending few extra buks.

Beautiful designs, never heard about "Try it for free". It is indeed a very nice concept which they have come up with and also have videos of the setting. I am impressed!!!

Well don't panic for the Diamond selection.. I'd say, stick to GIA certified diamonds. Check all the diamonds thoroughly and make your decision wisely. Best way to judge is compare their policies. See what is more beneficial and then take the decision.

I would like to highlight on few important points which I always keep in mind while making a purchase. (credit goes to PS ;) )
Check Return Policy
100% Refund if you do not like the diamond.
Check whether they have both ways shipping free.
Get expert Opinion on Diamonds from their Gemologist.
get Ideal Scope Image/ ASET image.
Confirm whether they are not a Drop Shipper.
check the HCA score of the diamond - https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

I just receivd image of diamond from B2C.

Also my wife is 2skeptical on buying diamond &ring frm 2 different places. Sugestions welcome........

The halo cathedral setting is much too thin (and I don't think it looks great, anyway.) Pick the setting first so you know how much is left for the diamond, then let us go shopping for you.

Julien can you suggest me the setting please?

IDJewelry has some simple halo settings in a good budget range. And they have pulled of some great feats of budget here in the past. You might contact them and tell them you are from PS and see what they can come up with on your budget....They are very easy to talk to!

I see some inclusion at 11 o'clock but I guess it is easily prongable. You need to go for the right kinda setting for this dia. BTW did you check the HCA score of this Dia?

You said she wanted something "delicate" in a setting...the first one is better than the second. But, did she want a halo because you posted one earlier. I think you should work with James Allen or ID Jewelery instead of B2C....
