Expert advice needed re possibility of re-setting stone...

I know that peridots are very soft stones and I am just wondering, on the off-chance
something happens to my stone and it needs replacing -- is it possible to re-set a stone
in this ring given the bezel claw setting? I anticipate the stone won''t last forever, given
my track record with gemstones....
