Hi, my boyfriend and I are looking to purchase a RB e-ring online. He lives in Italy where e-rings are not really the custom (I managed to convince him the American custom is a good one to follow

), and the diamond selection very limited and overpriced. Pricsecope has been a great resource for us, thanks so much!

Here is our criteria after doing our research here. Pricescope has taught us to value the cut over anything else.
Budget: ~$7000 (diamond + setting)
Cut: Ideal/H&A
Color: G-H
Clarity: VS2-SI1

Here are some of the stones we''re considering.

I really like the Tiffany style knife edge with basket-style 6 prong setting here, but it doesn''t have to be from WF if there''s a cheaper/better source. Also, is it worth considering white-gold over platinum for the lower price?

Please help us make the final decision! Thanks in advance for your help.

I like the 2nd one. It looks great! Also, the third one has a dark mark. You might ask them how eye clean it is and since it is bigger I am guessing that is the one you want. I think you are doing great. Which one are you leaning toward?

Hi ciokitty,

Honestly, you can''t go wrong with any of these, as long as they''re eyeclean. It''s just a matter of that and what you can afford!

Thanks for all your help. Here''s an update...

We stopped by at Tiffany''s and saw some I-colored stones. Turns out we are both not that color sensitive.

So we decided to include I color in our search and found this stone.

I see it''s "sold".

Good choice :) Then again - almost all the ACA''s (if not all) are going to be good choices.

Pictures please! :)
