Can someone provide expert advice on this Asscher? How decent of a stone is it? I realize it's "low" in color. What would be a fair price to pay? Or should one just keep looking?

It's difficult to offer any insight based on the information you have provided. Attempting to judge beauty and performance of a diamond based on a few specs is impossible. Do you have additional images of the stone, magnified, ASET, if not can your vendor provide them? Is the info you provided from a GIA report?

yes, GIA. Attaching one magnified image. Trying to get the ASET image....thx

Oh, my! A 4 ct M color asscher! I think the picture looks really good! It appears to have a smaller table and a very nice cut! I can deal with low color large stones when they are set in a halo to accentuate the color. It might be hard to find price comps for that stone. But lucky you if you get it!

The closet thing I see listed on the PS search is a 3 ct L VS1 asscher at $16k.
