Experience Sourcing Antique Cushions from Leon Mege

I''m in the market for a cushion and have had a few conversations with Perry and Leon regarding a cushion purchase. However, I''m not sure how many people have had experiences with them compared to ERD and GOG. Thus, any comments from those that have had experiences (positive or negative) with these guys would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not that many people here have used Leon. I don''t think most people knew about the service until Leon started to advertise it on his site recently (month or two ago). We''ve had a few people ask Leon to source stones but diamondband''s the first to buy and post about her experience. It''s still a new service for us PS''ers but Leon says he''s been sourcing stones for clients for a while now (in Diamondband''s SMTR post). All three vendors you have listed are so different from each other. It doesn''t hurt to spend some time with each of them to see who you are most comfortable with. Also, to see who can get you the stone you want.

I have met all three in person and they are all great. If you want an August Vintage (chunky cushion cut for light performance), you only have one choice - that is GOG. Leon will be happy to set the stone for you. If I purchased a stone from Leon, no question that he will also be the one setting it.
