Excellent's everywhere, now onto HCA?

Didn't this ring come directly from Tiffanys?

This is the Excel Diamonds tiffany ring. Your wife may be happier knowing that for the same price as a tiffany ring, she's getting a band of identical quality, but a much bigger/higher quality diamond.

I know there are better choices, but like I said originally, Tiffany's is pretty much the only option. That part is outside of my control. I first ordered the ring without a whole knowledge of how diamonds work other than the C's, but in the mean time I've dug in and have a pretty good understanding on cut dimensions.

He got it sent to him from the us to canada and would have needed to pay up front four weeks ago.

If he doesn't have and cant show the certification i highly doubt its real. the size looks wrong too it doesnt look loke a 1.16

Really suspicious

What are you suggesting? That he ordered from Tiffany's and then Tiffany's sent him a fake?

No. He doesnt have enough details of the transaction and purchase process and the process tiffany takes when sending items overseas. Also the price is off. No mention of the staff or shop. He knows more about PS lingo.

Unless he can post the certification from tiffany and the gia mdoified cert, I wont believe the post

I just don't understand where you're coming from with this. It seems completely out of left field for me, and honestly your tone comes across as accusatory. The man bought a ring, he wants to know if he got good quality for his money, I see nothing in his posts to suggest that he bought a "fake."

Please keep replies helpful and not inflammatory. PS is not the place for blind accusations or inflammatory remarks. If you have a concern, please report it.

From the pics you posted, I really can't tell much. The one head on doesn't look as good as I had hoped, but it might be a photography issue rather than a problem with the stone.

Do you have a Tiffany's in your city? Is that where the stone was sent for you to look at? It might be helpful to identify a stone they have in stock that is ideal cut and then you could compare this ring to an ideal cut and see if you can see any difference.
