EW cushion with channel set

Here is my brand new engagement ring!
It''s a 1 ct cushion cut I or J (can''t remember) SI stone in a four prong east-west setting with four channel set princess cut diamonds on each side. The setting is white gold, size 4.
I absolutely adore it. My fiance proposed while we were on vacation, and I think I spent most of the 14 hr. drive home staring at the ring. It''s so sparkly and pretty!
I actually picked out the stone and setting myself, but the east-west setting was a complete surprise. I never would have thought to set it that way, but I really love it and I think it adds an extra unique quality to the ring.

Thanks so much for all your kind words! I spent tons of time here as a lurker, checking out everyone else''s stuff and trying to figure out what I like - and it payed off! It''s so exciting to be engaged and to have something of my own to post.

I got a look at the GIA certificate: It''s 1.02 ct I SI1, Depth 60%, Table 62%. Good symmetry and polish, medium to thick faceted girdle. I can see an inclusion when I look into the stone from the side, but it doesn''t bother me.
A question - I can see a small gap in the solder that holds the head onto the band. Is this something that can be easily repaired? Do you think I should take it back to the store where we bought it and talk to them, or should I take it somewhere else?
