Evaluating the cut on this OEC

This OEC was brought to my attention today, and I would love to get any experts' opinions on the cut. Is the facet pattern any good?

It looks like this diamond has a larger table and shallower crown than other OECs I've seen. Would this one show more white light return than fire?

Would appreciate any thoughts!

I'd ask for more pictures or pass. Either the depth of field on the camera is too shallow so the facets look blurry, or the stones facets aren't crisp and sharp - I'd pass if it's #2. Also, I don't like th large table for an oec. Th photo seems somewhat off, looks heavily photoshopped to me.

Table size doesn't bother me as much as the crooked girdle does.

I have 6 oec stones... soon to be 7. They are all different... . With exception of the newest stone, I've never been able to buy one based on photos.

#7 was dirt cheap (auction) and will be used for a pendant for a young relative.

You've just got to see oec's in person. I know they are not that easy to find - especially in the larger sizes - that aren't teribbly included.

Good luck on your search.

To me it looks like an entire table is off center. The table also looks kind of big and combined with fairly low for an OEC crown it looks like a photoshoped transitional. I would pass.

Since I know you are looking for a needle in a haystack for size and prcie, if this is from a reputable seller and there is a no questions asked return policy, I think it is worth evaluating in person. I think I know who the seller is based on the photo, and if so, I find their photos crap but their diamonds good.

fridays_child, OcnGypZ, InnaR, Dreamer, thanks so much for your input. You confirmed what I was seeing, so now I just have to decide if it's still worth looking at in person. I know OECs are best viewed in person. Thanks again.

If it makes a difference, evaluating the stone I am keeping on paper would be pretty shallow. On the video you saw it performs quite well. I agree with the others that said you have to see video or the stone in person for an old cut. Then decide if the imperfections are something you can live with. I think the stone is pretty. If they have a great return policy, go for it!
