To be safe, I''d order it a 1/2 size bigger. I ordered mine a 1/4 size bigger and now wish I had gone a 1/2 size bigger.... I hate for my rings to be tight at all, I like them on the looser side. I do swell in the summer. If you are planning on getting pregnant your hands go up in size, so something to consider as well...
I ordered mine 1/2 size bigger and at first, I thought I made a mistake as my rings were very loose the day I received my rings (cold day), however it turned out that the next day they were fine. If you live in a climate like ny where it is hot in the summer and freezing in the winter, it''s kind of hard to find the perfect size..soo if my eternity seems a bit big, I just wear a band with it or another band..
I ordered mine smaller because it was so thin (1mm). If it were a larger tcw band I''d go up in size, but for my bitty w-bands I went 1/4 size smaller than normal and I''ve not had any issues with swelling, etc.
I did that and it was a mistake for me. I usually wear a 5, but was advised to order 5.25. Not only was the ring too big, but it made it uncomfortable and it didn''t look right, the way it sat on my finger. The vendor remade the ring in a "5 big" (which is like 5 1/ and now it fits perfectly.
I''m thinking for my personal situation that I''d better go up just a 1/4 size. My e-ring was 1/4 size bigger when I initially got it at 5.75 and it was so annoying how loose it was. My ring which is currently a 5.5 is still loose, so I think 6 for me might be too much.
I will have mine made in my actual size. I''m done having kids though going up even a quarter of a size rings become too loose on me. I personally wouldn''t get a full eternity if you plan on having kids. I know too many women who have had their ring size change after pregnancy, unless you buy from a company like Memoire which has some sort of an upgrade/sizing policy on their rings.
