Hi Everyone,
I am a long time lurker, first time poster!
I am in the market to shortly buy a platinum eternity ring, after looking at all the beautiful rings on pricescope from ID Jewelry I would like to order from them.
As far a TCW I'm not really sure, maybe about 3ct more if I can. I have a budget of $5,000USD however this is a bit flexible, I have a size 7 finger.
This will be an everyday ring (taken off for washing dishes, gardening etc.) so I am thinking I might want the stones set a bit lower than usual for the sake of comfort. Is my assumption that lower set stones would be more comfortable correct?
What clarity should I be after? I notice on the ID Jewelry website the standard setting is clarity of SI, should I raise the clarity to VS2 or VS1?
Also they don't mention the cut grade, what grade should I request to be included in my quote?
Is $5,000 a reasonable budget to have for a ring such as this?
If there is anything else I should consider I would be more than happy to hear your advice!
Thanks very much.
Katie
