Eternity band project HELP!!!!

Okay so I am working on solidifying my design before bothering any vendors. My goal is a wide 4 to even 7mm, dramatic band (eternity/all the way around) that I can wear as a stand alone left or right. I originally thought something like this: but its rather dense and while beautiful, not particularly interesting or special. I really need ideas. I like art deco deign. The ring attached would be better if there was air space in there somewhere. I have also thought about a band of square emerald cuts turned on their sides......but then what do with the triangular spaces left .........pix or ideas most welcome.

Personally, I think it is kinda busy in the ring that you post. For the ring of that size, I think it would be best to go with pricess cut and emerald cut. You can either do one row of ec and one row of pc or u can alternate every other stone as ec while the other is pc.

I have seen a ring from Piaget probably about 7mm or larger with 2 rows of RB on both edges and a middle row of asschers. The 2 rows of RB can turn around each other in perpetual motion. It is a very substantial ring on its own and so gorgeous. I can't get a pic to post here but you can check in their website under wedding Ref. G34A6100.

Yah, thats the one! How did you do it? It wouldn''t let me save as!

Shift + prntscn funtion buttons together and then pull up Paint and paste, you then have to crop out the part you want

Thank you! I had Sally at Heart of Water custom design this, she now offers this on her site... you can add more diamond or change up the design a bit if you want, add different size diamonds too

I am narrowing it down to two ideas:

1) .25 rounds set in octagonal milgrained "boxes"
2) pave''d crescent shapes --"scalloped" with an air line in between each one

thoughts? any pix? or ideas?

Bgray, it sounds as though you want a less traditional look for this band. This might give you an idea of what to do with the empty spaces, or whatnot. The ring on the left is from a local New Orleans jeweler, Jack Sutton, and the one on the right is from engagement-ring-mountings.com.
