I have been searching for eternity bands for quite sometime, and wanted to get some expert opinions. What is a practical size for everyday wear (~15 pointers)? I understand the question posed is rather subjective, but would appreciate any advice. Also, I have perused a few different eb threads in the recent past and have enjoyed all the pretty sparkles. :) Ideally, I am looking to have at least 35 pointers with excellent cut, f-g color range, and vvs clarity.
Thanks, everyone.

What size ring do you wear? Do you want FULL Eternity, 3/4, or 1/2?
I am working on creating a 7 stone Asscher Anniversary Band. I wear a size 6 ring, and I want between 25pts & 33pts. This band will be 3/4 for me....
How are you setting your diamonds? For every day wear, you want to keep comfort in the front of your mind...you want them set low enough so it's not uncomfortable...

My finger size is a 6, and definitely want a full- eternity ring. While I have entertained the thought of a seven- or nine-stone band, I know I wouldn't be happy with it in the long run. And, I prefer the shared-prong look. I went into Tiffany's a few months ago and tried on their full-circle band, and was told that the cut is beyond ideal, although the sa says the band does not come with a certification, because each stone is under 0.19 carats. Hmm...

I'm assuming you'll need 10-12 stones at 35pts? The shared prong setting is nice...have you considered u-prong, to leave the sides more open, rather than incorporating a basket & hiding the side view of the stones?

I have thought about a u-prong, but I have always enjoyed the traditional basket look. =)2

Ok...so, have you started the search for 10-12 exact diameter stones in your ctwt, color, and clarity range?
That will be step 1. Each stone must be the same diameter, same color, and have the same clarity...

Not yet. Was hoping I could find a vendor who would help me with that. :P2

I believe you'll need 11-ish (10-12; happy medium) 3.75mm-4mm rounds, with all of your added specs: 35pts, F color, VVS clarity....

I think you should go through Mike Nekta or IDJ... They make A LOT of eternity bands, have SUPER sparklers, and also price VERY competitively. IDJ does a lot of work for Pricescoper's. Here are links to both of their Instagram... Mike Nekta typically posts prices of his bands with the IG picture and he has a diamond search tool on his website too.

I have read many posts of eternity bands made by IDJ and there seems to have been quality issues? I'll look into mike nekta.

If I were going to buy a forever eternity band, I would go with Whiteflash. Their ACA melee is really special. Nothing wrong with IDJ and I think as long as you request PS stones you'll still get a knockout, but Whiteflash eternities are amazing.

Are their ACA melees more sparkly than the average ideal-cut diamonds of comparable size?

Bump... any advice on eternity bands?

Its hard to say what you will find comfortable and practical. My mom is a size 6.5 and wears a ~5 tcw eternity band. She is fine with it, but I find the U-prong setting scratchy and the stone too thick between my fingers. But, her fingers are narrow at the base and my are not. While substantial on her hand, it pairs well with her other jewelry which all tends to be substantial...she just bends anything too dainty (a good excuse for more bling!).

I think the quality of diamonds in the band should be on-par with your ering (or a future upgrade if you have one in mind), if they will be worn together. In the extreme, if you wear a WF ACA band with a GIA good cut -- the contrast in performance might stand out to you.

I'd also recommend leaving a sizing bar at the bottom.
