In another thread it was mentioned eternity band dismonds get beat up on the underside. I’ve had mine (several) about 5 years and no damage at all. Is yours damaged or have you replaced any stones?

No damage or replaced stones on any of my eternities (3]
I don’t wear them everyday and I’m extremely careful with my hands when I am wearing them. I never grip anything or grab any handles with my hand that wears an eternity. Not very practical.

This is why I did a 3/4 eternity. Afraid that the stones would get damaged.

I think you're very lucky to have kept the same finger size for 5 years. It's well worth the investment in an eternity already

The only damaged ring I have had so far is my 9 almost 10 year old half eternity band and the damage isn't to the diamonds. It's just a thin channel on both sides, but one side is hanging by a thread from wearing it so much. I have to go get it reinforced soon so I dont lose any stones. I haven't had my 3/4ths prong set eternity long enough to know how it will be in 10 years. I imagine it will be the same thing though. Stones are fine and metal needs help.

I live in my eternity bands, I take them off one when I want to swap them for something else. The only one I ever had issues with was a LM band, that lost stones and handful of times. I do not wear that set any longer. But I've many eternity bands: WF, BN, LM and "unknowns". I like them and depending on the weather, travel schedules etc they move about on my hands to varying fingers.

April, I think you may be referring to my thread where I mentioned I had a chipped stone in my band that WF identified when they made the shared prong into a bezel style... ? Apparently I am harder on my jewelry than most people, LOL, so please don't base a decision on my experience.

A few of the diamonds in my eternity are damaged (chipped girdles). I trade off wearing my eternity and solitaire. I’ve had the eternity for 6 years. I don’t wear my rings to do chores, but I have four kids so I’m hard on my hands (and rings).
