Estimate value of an "Pony Express" gold ring

I have recently come into possession of a Pony Express ring but unfortunetely it is impossible for me to know the origin of this ring or even go to a local jeweler since I live in Eastern Europe and absolutely nobody would know anything about the real value of this ring. I would like to know what is the real value of this item (not just the price of gold weight).
