So I bought this 3 stone at a great price bc it's estate. But the center stone has a couple of dents and I can't tell if they are inclusions or chips. I love the color of the stone but I'm open to replacing it. My concern is that I don't know much about amethysts which I'm supposing this stone to be, so I don't know how expensive it would be to replace for a similar size and color. I do love how the stone glows and shifts colors in the lights. A few pictures. image_663.jpg image_664.jpg

It's a beautiful ring but does look like a big chip on the top near the prong. You could look at getting it recut or repolished?

The chip is too large to repolish and to recut it means losing a lot of size to the point that it would no longer fit the setting. It would cost less to replace it.
