MakingTheGrade, look no further!! That setting is gorgeous! I also love Tacori's. The touch of blue sapphire is devine!

Haha, I know! It's so lovely, but it's more money than I usually spend on jewelery..or anything really.. And I'm just curious as to how much the designer name is adding to the price..

I'd have an easier time justifying it to the hubby if I could show him other examples and persuade him it's a competitive price for its level of workmanship

He's an engineer, he responds to these sort of things.

The only other thing that I don't love about it, is that I really prefer 6 prongs over 4..

I love that mounting MTG. The profile is stunning!

You can send your pics to one of our vendors and ask for a quote to recreate it with the changes you''d like to see. Then you can have all of it''s features personalized. It would be a one of a kind.

I love diamonds with sapphires. The photos on this thread are gorgeous!

And to MTG, I really like the setting you posted -- it's elegant and well-designed from all sides.

I agree with the others -- check with some other vendors to see if you can get it reproduced in a way that will fit in your budget (and incorporate the changes you want).

If you work with a PS vendor, you won't have to pay sales tax (unless you're in the same state as they are). On an expensive setting, this saves you a lot of money.

I have an emerald cut diamond with bezel sapphires. I love it, but here comes the but... The sapphires are bezel set and the blue sometimes doesn''t come through as well in certain lights, meaning it just looks like dark stones. It does sometimes annoy me that they don''t look like sapphires and people ask me what they are. I would double check what the sapphires in the setting look like in a vareity of lights, as they are bezel set in the design you like.

Sorry the photo is so huge! I REALLY miss this set, So much in fact that i''m considering asking hubby to upgrade the center stone...My 10 year set, is of higher quality and price so I feel odd whereing this one..if that makes sense without sounding snobbish. It''s because I know how hard he works to provide if that mkaes sense....
