engraving the outside of an old ring

I would really love a vintagy looking rose gold wedding band and having trouble finding one within my budget of 300$.

I was wondering is it worth it to find the cheapest rose gold band and getting someone to do the engraving on it? I know someone people have had that done... sent it to David Klass for engraving for example... but what would the approx cost be?

Pretty ring. Is it my imagination, or does the stamp inside the shank say 12K Jabel? Listed as 14K but the stamp looks otherwise.
