Engraving in Toronto?

Does anyone know of a reputable place where I can get my engagement ring engraved in the GTA? I bought it from WF and their engraver was down and they didn''t know when it would be back up.

It will be hard to find a place who will do it since you didn''t buy it from them and they don''t want to be responsible for messing it up... You can try Damiani in Woodbridge or Radiant Jewelers in Vaughan Mills Mall.

I''m still looking around for a place. The ring isn''t insured yet. Should I be concered about getting it engraved and not having it insured?

I just had my ring engraved at Mirko Engraving in downtown Toronto. They did an excellent job. I would recommend anyone looking to get something engraved in Toronto to go there.

ILTW is right, many of the reputable establishments aren''t willing to take responsibility for pieces that aren''t their own. However, DH and I did have our wedding bands from Excel Diamonds engraved at the Birks in Yorkdale mall. They didn''t hesitate to place the order and they did an excellent job, and the costs were reasonable. FWIW, I wanted to engrave hubby''s watch (wedding presie) at the Birks in Square One and they said no for the aforementioned reason. I guess it depends on the location and the SA''s. Good luck!
