Engagment & eternity ring claws Annoying. Is this normal for the size band?

I absolutely love this ring and I picked out a chunky band (3mm) due to slim bands looking shocking on my finger. However the ‘claws?’ Holding in the bands diamonds are raised and really irritating. Has anyone had this issue and has been able to have it fixed or do they need to be like this to hold in the diamonds? Does anyone else have a similar band without this problem. 3mm with 10pointer diamonds in it.

Some people are sensitive and do not like the feel of an eternity band in between their fingers. You may be one of them. You can
take it back to your jeweler and see if they can file down any irritating prongs. Worth a try.
