Well folks.
As promised, here is my update regarding my e-ring upgrade. I did " follow thru" with my diamond purchase. Now I''m waiting patiently for the finish product.
I posted a few days ago requesting feedback on a diamond I had on hold. Thanks to strmdr and others I decided to face my fears and go with it. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU. I will attach my original post at the end, for those of you who want to get more details on the stone.
Here is my review of the whole process up to date. I have gone with Mark at ERD for both stone and setting.
Mark will work within your budget. After a quick phone call, by that same afternoon Mark had three beautiful stones for me to look at. Althought those were not winners, they were a great starting point. I really wanted an excellent cut ( by PS standards) along with excellent polish and symmetry (PS made me a very picky customer
). Well, to make a long story short, after a number of meetings and a myriad of questions, I relied on Mark for this stone. Although he did not own the stone, he decided to buy it in order to give me more time to make a decision. This to me was a huge relief.
Although he is know for his expertise in cushions, I would trust his eyes with any kind of cut. I believe pricing was very competitive yet not a bargain. With that said, any extra I might have paid is well worth it. Mark has been extremely patient and diligent through this process. I cannot ask for better customer service.
I don''t want to make this post too long - If I have left anything out or if there is anything else you would like me to comment on, please ask. I would love to help someone out.
I decided to go with a tiffany six prong replica in Platinum. I''m waiting anxiously for the finish product !!! Since the purchase is NOT FINAL, as Mark says so himself, please feel free to comment on the stone. Nothing wrong with honest criticism.
