engagement ring

Here is the engagement ring I gave to my fiance. It has 65 1pt diamonds paved into the band and a 1/2 ct center stone set between 2 posts.


What do you guys think?

I think the ring looks great.

I am not familiar with two post settings however. How is the ring held in place as to avoid the risk of stone loss through impact or some other form of shock?

I''m not 100% positive how the setting works. I think it''s part tension and I think the girdle is anchored. I will get pix of the hand when I can get her to stop showing her friends.

The jeweler and I designed it together. If anyone here is in Raleigh, his name is Todd Godfrey. He was a dream to work with. Other jewelry stores immediately began showing me rings. He spent the first 10 minutes asking me about my fiance. He took the info I gave him about her and showed me a few things he had done in the past and we went from there.
