My boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed on Christmas Day with a family ring. He is a great man and needless to say I am over the moon!

I don’t know too much abt the of the stats other than the center is an OEC, abt a carat, and there are 22 single cut diamonds in the setting. The setting is from the 1920’s and the diamond is a bit older.
We took it to single stone in LA a while back to make sure the setting was sound and ok to wear. What is interesting is the table is larger don’t know the exact number but Ari said it’s a OEC.
What’s amazing is we didn’t even have to get it sized. It fit perfectly.

oh my . . . the year 2016 ended up getting very full of wonderful things so I have been MIA here on Pricescope. Have to upload some pictures of earrings as well before my summer holiday is only but a lovely memory.

So JDDN to answer your question: I don't wear the antique engagement ring with a band. I feel, when the ring was created in 1920 it wasn't meant to be "a set" so I want to wear it as it was intended.

Could it be I am not a stacker? :eh:

We did get wedding bands and I love mine, so easy and comfortable to wear. A 3mm platinum band from Harry Winston. Can't help it . . . .wanted a "brand" for the band. Tried on several and the HW felt the best.
