I know they both look good, hence my dilemma. I can only have one. If it were you, which would you choose and why?

One isn't better cut than the other.
One won't return more light than the other.
One won't return "better" light than the other.

One costs less than the other.
The one that costs less can be upgraded at not one but two vendors.

they both look great and both vendors offer tiffany style setting

Ditto, but you probably want to check re: upgrading the WF stone with BGD. I doubt you can since it has been recerted and thus re-laser inscribed etc. I would not let that play into my thinking on this.

Alright one more opinion poll. The 1.075 G SI1 from BGD sold, so I have another from them I am considering.

1.207 H SI1

--OR--

1.088 G SI1

I only have one hesitation about BGD, their pictures look too good! In the lighting that they show their diamonds, its very difficult to locate any inclusions (which may be a good thing because maybe the inclusions are not that bad). That particular H SI1 stone has some stuff going on in the table according to the plot, but not so visible in the picture. I like WF's pictures better because they seem to use real lighting and the pictures look more honest.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Both are show images, not for checking out if an inclusion is visible. DO NOT judge if a stone is eye-clean from images, map. You can't do it.

ditto. these are not images meant to show inclusions. the only way to tell if inclusions are visible is to SEE the stone or have a trusted vendor examine. you can't go by the report plot diagram. which vendor do you feel more comfortable with?

ETA there is a $1000 price difference between those two diamonds...are they both in budget?
