Engagement Ring Diamond search

Hello,

This will be my first diamond purchase and its an engagement ring. To me diamond was always a diamond and nothing else. It has to blink and if it blinks then its a good diamond...well, not. After doing some research and learning about diamonds, of course from this great website, I am blown away of how interesting diamonds actually are.

Budget: $6300(diamond only)
Carat: Around .9ct to 1ct
Color: G or better
Clarity: VS2 or better
Cut: Excellent

I am narrowing down my choices but still need your help choosing the "best" one. I think its going to be hard to find True Hearts or Astro Ideal within my specs and budget. I am probably worrying too much about the clarity from looking at the zoomed pictures and videos as they defects wont be visible from far, right?

This is is little smaller than I wanted but its True Hearts cut. You can see the crystals when zoomed in but i doubt they will be noticeable from far. HCA score 0.8

Is your budget of $6300 for the diamond and setting, or diamond only?

If it’s all-inclusive, do you have a setting idea in mind so we can get a sense of what portion of your budget should be allocated to both?

Here is a WF Expert Selection that ticks all your boxes. The numbers are in line with what is recommended for ‘ideal’ specs, so I’d ask WF to opine on why it missed ACA spec/branding. Looks like a beautiful diamond that meets all your specs, and is in budget if paid via wire.

Thanks for your suggestion. Its beautiful. I am putting it as my top option for now. Now I found a similar diamond and the difference is in color and size but its less money. Would you go down from G to H, gain some carat and pay less?

Of these two, I prefer the chubbier arrows of the 0.90 G VS2. But, they are both just fine. I find no issues with H color stones (provided WF says its a "high to middle H", so it is closer to G than an I).

How about this one? Its bigger by a bit from your your selections, so a bit more while staying in budget by lowering clarity to SI1.

I am leaning to the first one on the left as I dont think we will notice the difference with naked eye between those three. The only thing I noticed is that the AGS report is from Dec,11 2017, does that matter?

or do you think is should spend more and really think about the other two...ughhh decisions decisions
