We got this petite beauty from Singlestone in LA and we couldn't be happier! Thanks also to this board for edu-ma-cating me on all things diamond etc.

it's an antique platinum art deco .80 center OMC? we got the milgraining redone because it was worn off, and I had them high polish it. my ring size is something like 4 or so.

i particularly loved this ring because it has eight sides which is very common in that particular age which represented eternity. eight is also an extremely lucky and good fortune number in chinese culture.

You''ve *so* got to take some more pics! It looks absolutely gorgeous. I adore original vintage settings; most all antique rings I''ve seen have a lot of millgraining loss- it just doesn''t hold up over that many decades. I''d definitely trust SS to redo it well, though!

. the ring, however, is a huge sparkler and I'm pleased with the decision to have it high polished. I love antiques from this era because I feel the workmanship is so much more delicate and skilled than what you see in these modern times! oops, my ring size is 4.75 ...
