Hello, I'm new here!
I know its not a beautiful big diamond like all of yours, but we are both still in college, and he wants to get me a diamond when he graduates in 3 semesters. So he got me a 1.50 Amethyst, with .11ct of diamonds set in 14K white gold. I'm just in love with it!

Diamonds are nice, but your ring is gorgeous, and your BF is right... you can replace that with a very nice princess cut diamond later if you wish.

An e-ring doesn''t have to be a diamond. My e-ring from my ex-husband was a gorgeous 2ct.oval blue sapphire with baguettes - even though it wasn''t a diamond, it turned heads big time! did you know Princess Diana''s e-ring was a sapphire surrounded by diamonds?
