Emerald ring.15ct cabochon Muzo.Is it a good stone?

The ring has been checked by such reputable jewelers in Chicago as Marshall Pierce & Company, Jerry Bern, G.G. / President https://www.marshallpierce.com/; James & Sons Fine Jewelers, John Sunderland / President http://www.jamesandsons.com/; Paul Young Fine jewelry/ the owner. Jennifer Santi, GG (GIA), CG (AGS), Appraiser for Gemworld International https://gemguide.com/appraisal-services/ also checked the emerald.
All of them pointed out that one of the prongs had a crack and the stone was loose in the setting. The worst part was that the jewelers (excluding the appraiser) didn't want to remove, reset my cabochon and resize the ring. I asked them to add 4 more prongs to hold the stone. They told me that it was very risky work and they didn't want to be responsible. I thought that it wouldn't be such a big deal to take out the stone and add 4 more prongs. They still can do it, but I have to sign some papers. I didn't know that emeralds were so fragile and capricious. Live and learn. Maybe my experience will help someone.

I decided to keep the ring. The more time I spend with this emerald, the more I fall in love. Still, my camera can't capture the true color. The color is so alluring, to die for.
